T.R.A.V.E.L. is an innovative business coaching and consulting model that enables people to travel effectively through their business journeys turning challenges into actions. When applying The T.R.A.V.E.L. Model people experience three powers: developing a winning mindset, asking more precise questions and sharing enthusiasm. When those three powers are properly activated, people can visualize more inspiring scenarios and they identity more effective directions to achieve them. In the previous post I have described how relevant it is to create and maintain a performing mindset to turn challenges into opportunities. In this post I will focus on the second part of T.R.A.V.E.L.: how to turn those opportunities into actions.

All businesses are led by people and made by journeys, the more effectively we travel through those journeys the better the outcomes will be. The second three steps of the model summarize the effective business tools and methods that people experience when they apply T.R.A.V.E.L. Those methods and tools are inspired by world-leading companies and optimized to suit the needs of business leaders, entrepreneurs and ambitious organizations who want to turn opportunities into actions. Let’s discover those three steps:

  1. VISUALIZE: with a winning mindset, people generate bigger and better visions of how great their business could look like when the challenges will be solved. Visualization is the engine behind great achievement: “if you can visualize it, you can make it!”. A visionis a vivid mental image of what you want your business to be at some point in the future, based on your goals and aspirations. So, this first step, is focused on defining the directions and the objectives to achieve that vision.
  2. ENGAGE: directions and objectives won’t bring any results unless people start engaging with them and to engage with them it’s necessary to plan and define measurable and achievable actions. Only once those actions are formalized, directions and objectives become relevant to achieve the vision: engagement is a sign of commitment to make the business vision real.
  3. LANDING: once vision, directions and actions are in place, it’s time to land or, in other words, it’s time to lead those actions to make sure they will deliver as expected. Landing is the last step but definitely not the least: to land effectively we support people with proven effective business tools to show leadership and to measure progress. Regardless the business title, every professional is a business leader because every function and every action is necessary to achieve the vision.

Completing these last 3 steps will enable your business to land in wow: wow is an acronym that stands for a “world of wonderful…” and it applied to results, solutions and outcomes.
