Every business is led by people and made by journeys.

A journey can be defined as “an act of traveling from one place to another”. For the majority of these journeys we know where we start but we don’t know where we will land, or how to land where we would like.  Journeys can be long or short, complex or straightforward, wide or narrow, however, they all have something in common: we embrace them looking for a top quality outcome. The quality of the outcome is usually the combination of two types of factors: the ones under our direct control, for instance, when and where to start the journey from and the effort and resources we want to put-in. Others such as luck or unexpected good news, on the other hand, are not under our direct control but can be influenced by the “how” we travel through our journeys.

In my career while working with, consulting or coaching business leaders, entrepreneurs and ambitious organizations I have clearly seen how effectiveness and engagement are very important to lift-up the quality of the “how” we travel through our journeys. But having a top-performing mindset is absolutely crucial in delivering real top quality outcomes. In this scenario I started focusing on how to merge together the development of a top-performing mindset (applying proven successful coaching techniques) and the application of effective business solutions to turn challenges into opportunities and opportunities into actions. I was looking for an engaging business coaching model that would enable people and business to take off from where they are “now” to land in their “WOW”: a new land full of opportunities and inspiration.

The T.R.A.V.E.L. Model was born: an engaging and innovative coaching model that, in six steps, enables entrepreneurs, business leaders and ambitious organizations to travel effectively through their business journeys turning challenges into actions. Six steps such as the six letters that compose the word T.R.A.V.E.L. where: T. stands for Take Off, R. for Resources, A. for Attitude, V. for Visualize, E. for Engage and L. for Landing. As Albert Einstein says “we can’t solve our problems with the same mindset we used to create them” so the first three steps focus on developing a top-performing mindset; the second three steps focus on applying effective business solutions inspired by successful leaders and world-class organizations to visualize the direction and to land effectively in the “WOW”.

In a nutshell, T.R.A.V.E.L. is the answer, regardless of the question: with T.R.A.V.E.L. you change the way you look at your challenges and as the American philosopher Wayne Dyer once said “if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”.
